The Healdsburg Senior Center offers a variety of classes, workshops, and programs, provides meeting places for many clubs and recreational activities and makes referrals to other public and private agencies as necessary. The center also serves as a dining site for the council on aging daily lunch program.
Newsletter and Many Programs
A monthly newsletter keeps all seniors informed and connected. The Gatekeeper Program provides a link between older persons and the community through early intervention and crisis prevention, and the RUOK, "Are You OK?" calling service makes daily checks on seniors as requested.
Within the community are sports facilities, scheduled bridge games, a variety of cultural events, and opportunities for travel adventures.
